Today we’re pleased to announce our partnership with GreenO, the pioneering climate company dedicated to creating the largest geospatial digital data platform in agriculture.
Our Global FieldID service, which establishes a geospatial reference framework for the entire agricultural industry, will integrate with GreenO’s geospatial platform to power efficient sharing of valuable data insights on the GreenO interface and throughout the food value chain. The enhanced platform enables farmers to connect and collaborate with key stakeholders, such as agrochemical companies, food manufacturers and retailers or insurers, to share their field data and gain a greater understanding of financial insights.
As a leader in optical and radar satellite technology, GreenO’s platform empowers farmers to monetize their farm data and collaborate with agricultural stakeholders to decarbonize the food value chain. By leveraging optical and radar satellite technology, GreenO gathers detailed information on regenerative farming practices that protect soil fertility, such as cover crops, regenerative grazing, soil cover and biodiversity support.
GreenO will leverage Global FieldID within its data platform to help their users save time when sharing information about specific land plots. Our solution allows farmers to map their agricultural fields through assigning unique IDs to each land plot, to essentially create a 'QR code for fields’. GreenO’s adoption of Global FieldID enhances the geospatial platform, with farmers and relevant stakeholders having the ability to accurately assess their farmland information on the GreenO platform for agronomic, financial and sustainability insights that can be accurately tracked.
